Pastor Gary and Victoria were faithful disciples at Church180 Mississauga Church. They were married in May, 2007 and immediately knew that God wanted to use their lives in the ministry. They led a home bible study group, became the outreach and concert director. But, there was still more that God wanted to do through them.
On July 12, 2009, Gary & Victoria started a church in North York, ON. Proclaim Church was born!
They laboured on the streets of North York, sharing the gospel of Jesus with people they came in contact with.
They held their first church services in the conference room at the Toronto Plaza Hotel, with little to none in attendance. However, after a few years, they outgrew that space and found a bigger building in an industrial area.
The church gave financially and laboured endlessly to convert that warehouse into a warm and welcoming church building. Over the years, they’ve conducted a few more renovations to continuously accommodate the growth that God brought into the church.
Today, Proclaim Church continues to grow and make a mark in the city of North York. The congregation is filled with many Christ-loving and faithful Christians who share the common goal and vision of evangelism, discipleship and taking the great commission seriously.
Matthew 28:19-20 ESV
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
